CIBC Delegation in the Sisak-Moslavina County

The delegation of the Croatian-Israeli Business Club (CIBC)  met with County Prefect Marina Lovrić-Merzel in the capital of the Sisak-Moslavina County. The meeting was organized to discuss potential investments in capital projects in two county hospitals.

CIBC President prof. Dragan Primorac said that major efforts are made to connect the Croatian and Israeli economy with  focus on medicine and technology. „Our main interest is to make Croatia a knowledge society, especially in the field of medicine where I can personally give a contribution, and to make a know-how transfer in the medical sector.“, concluded prof. Primorac.

Prof. Primorac said that CIBC interest is to involve the State of Israel in the Croatian economy by exploring different opportunities to invest capital and knowledge in projects of mutual interest. He concluded that the medical projects which were presented are very well designed and that other elements were promising as well.

This was the first meeting of CIBC representatives in one of the Croatian counties.

Primorac presented Prime Minister Netanyahu with a jersey

Prof. Dragan Primorac, former Minister of Science, Education and Sports, who recently accompanied and cheered on the Croatian national A team at the European Championship qualifier match with Israel, took the opportunity of his stay in Israel to pay a visit to Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Old friends who go back a long way took the occasion to discuss a series of subjects including the activities of the Croatian – Israeli Business Club that is becoming a major factor of cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. Prof. Primorac presented Prime Minister with the Croatian national soccer team official jersey, a gift from the Croatian Football Federation, the well known and popular red and white “checkers”, autographed right after the match by all the members of “The Fiery Ones”.

Israeli Prime Minister was pleasantly surprised by the gift and the gesture of CFF. The moment was quite emotional and Prime minister liked the shirt very much.

Prof. Primorac said that Prime Minister Netanyahu also promised that, schedule permitting, he would be pleased to visit Croatia, probably as early as next year.
