Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by computer systems. It encompasses a variety of technologies and methodologies that enable machines to perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning from experience (machine learning), reasoning and problem-solving, understanding natural language, recognizing patterns, and making decisions. AI can be classified into narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks, and general AI, which aims to understand and reason across a broad range of subjects, akin to human cognitive abilities. AI applications are widespread and include areas such as speech recognition, image processing, autonomous vehicles, and recommendation systems. The goal of AI research is to create systems that can function intelligently and independently in a variety of real-world situations.
